Healthcare Insights to Exhibit Costing Solutions at Becker's Hospital Review Annual Meeting in Chicago

Top-ranked hospital decision support software, services, and expertise

Libertyville, IL, April 23, 2015 — When more than 1,200 hospital business and strategy leaders gather in Chicago next month for Becker’s Hospital Review 6th Annual Meeting, Healthcare Insights, LLC (HCI) will be exhibiting its solutions for reducing healthcare costs and improving patient care.

A #1 Category Leader in the annual Best in KLAS software and services for four years in a row, HCI’s participation as an exhibitor at the Becker’s meeting will afford the opportunity to promote its expanded capabilities since merging with NOMISe®, Inc. in October. The merged company provides top-rated decision support software for financial management, costing, and clinical analytics, plus cost accounting consulting and outsourced costing services to hospitals and health systems nationwide.

“With healthcare reform’s focus on value, hospitals face a greater need for cost transparency and a much higher level of accountability. Understanding the costs of delivering services is key for any hospital to remain viable,” said Dave Beto, HCI chief growth and business development officer. “HCI and NOMISe came together in part because of NOMISe’s 20-plus years of experience and expertise in developing and maintaining innovative cost-finding techniques for hospitals and health systems. Now we offer a unified source for integrated, end-to-end financial management solutions, including the more accurate and current cost and clinical data needed to effectively analyze the relationship of cost and quality and quantify the cost-savings opportunities.”

Beto also pointed out another key HCI differentiator: its reputation for delivering “robust knowledge transfer, sustained support, and expertise” so hospital executives, administrators, managers, and clinicians know how to actually use the analytics to manage cost and quality effectively.

“As we work with hundreds of hospitals around the country, finance leaders tell us one of their chief concerns is bringing in a piece of software only to be left on their own after the initial implementation,” said Beto. “Our KLAS ranking isn’t just for our software, it’s equally for the support that comes along with the software—the training, follow up, after-implementation attention, and continual service our clients receive. It's not just the data, it's what people are able to do with it and how people use it to achieve results that make the difference.”

Healthcare Insights will be exhibiting in Booth #57 during the Becker’s Hospital Review 6th Annual Meeting, which is slated for May 7–9, 2015, at the Swissôtel in Chicago.
